Originally we were scheduled to leave tomorrow morning to head to our first destination in the great state of Ohio. Jack says, "Goooo Buckeyes"!
Last night and this morning we finished packing up the rest of Jack's apartment...a rather tedious task which has left us utterly exhausted. We were lucky enough to miss the rain when moving items into the truck but we did get to test how well the Rav4 handles in downpours (especially deep puddles) and we have to say that we are impressed and feel safe driving the car in inclement weather.
Today we spent the day with my family out in NJ celebrating my mothers 35th birthday! Just kidding, she's not actually 35 but I feel like if I divulged her accurate age publicly she would be upset with me. We had a lot of good food and cake...and one of my favourites...pie and got to see my aunt, uncle and cousins. We also spent some time outside talking with neighbors which was rather nice. Thank you all for your well wishes and to Ginny and Lisa for the generous gift.
Because of all the commotion and events we have decided to leave Tuesday morning so we do not have to rush packing the car and can spend tomorrow taking our time running last minute errands and preparing.
We'll update once we're ready to launch!
